Education

A primary focus of Chicago Autism Resource and Education (C.A.R.E.) is to introduce education for those that potentially deal with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). C.A.R.E. staff volunteer their time preparing seminars and reading material to help organizations and individuals that might need a better understanding of how to interact with those diagnosed with Autism. In addition we collect information from other organizations that also prepare similar information to continuously better understand Autism, its effects on the individual and family and training to best support them.

C.A.R.E. also provides support by educating parents and care takers of those with ASD to understand how to best navigate the system to get the support these individuals deserve from federal, state, local government and other not-for-profit organizations that focus on helping individuals and families affected by Autism.
